Soggy June
The only nice thing about the weather lately is that I've been able to catch up on my napping. It certainly has been a soggy June so far. Take a look at the radar rain estimates of rainfall around Minnesota and Wisconsin. The yellow contour indicates around 2 inches.
Above Average Precipitation
Before Saturday's rainfall we were sitting through the first 11 days of the month with 2.62" of rain, 0.84" above normal. Interestingly we were still 0.92" behind normal precipitation since January 1st. If we this keep up, we will likely be back to normal in no time. Here's the latest daily climate report for St. Cloud.
Near Normal Temps
Even with the somewhat soggy weather as of late, temperatures are running pretty close to average.
Sunday Weather
The image below shows the temperature, wind speed and direction at 2pm Sunday. A lighter north breeze will help to dry thing out a bit and with a little more sunshine, temperature should warm to near 70F
Clouds Linger, but Showers Stay Mainly South
Good news for graduation parties today, it appears that most of the showery weather will stay south of the region through most of the day.
Have a good Sunday - Todd Nelson
