Take a look at this NASA satellite image of Soccer City in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is so big that you can see it from nearly 23,000 miles above the Earth’s surface!
I wonder if you can here the Vuvuzelas from that high up?

Closer to Home:
Severe weather potential for Thursday appears to be quite high in the Upper Midwest, see the Convective Outlook below. Hail, High Winds and Tornadoes will be possible in the locations shaded in orange. It appears the best chance of severe weather tomorrow will be in western Minnesota. Interestingly, Minnesota has yet to see a tornado this year, but averages nearly 9 in the month of June. If Minnesota records a tornado Thursday, it'll be the second consecutive year where the first Minnesota tornado of the year was recorded on June 17th.
TWISTEX, a tornado research team, will be in the area on Thursday in search of the illusive 2010 Minnesota tornado. To find out more about TWISTEX, see here: You may be more familiar with the TWISTEX team by watching them on Discovery, see here:
Have a good day - Todd Nelson
