Storm Watch far southeastern MN until 6 pm

Severe Storm Watch. SPC has issued a severe storm watch for extreme southeastern MN and southwestern WI until 6 pm this evening. A eastbound cool front, coupled with warm, unstable air, is escalating the risk of 1"+ hail and potentially violent winds (>60 mph) near Winona, Lake City and La Crosse. Although a thunderstorm is possible in the Twin Cities and St. Cloud, it does appear the greatest risk is over far southeastern MN, where the air is most unstable and primed for strong/severe storms.
